A couple sold their mansion plus a neighboring lot in the exclusive Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club in Boca Raton for $19 million.
John S. Simoni and Barbara A. Simoni sold their homestead residence of 7,627 square feet at 174 W. Coconut Palm Road along with a vacant lot of 0.32 acres to the M Sean Revocable Trust and the M Beth Revocable Trust, both with Jonathan Bloom as trustee. David W. Roberts with Royal Palm Properties brokered the deal.
The price equated to $2,491 per square foot.
The couple bought the 0.32-acre lot along Buccaneer Palm Waterway for $1.55 million in 1998 and completed their home the following year. They purchased the vacant neighboring lot of $2.88 million in 2005.
The home features five bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, a lagoon-style pool, a summer kitchen, an elevator, a dock, two offices, a library, and a bar.
The Simonis still have a place in Boca Raton, as they own a condo at Mizner Grand.
